Since this is the first time I have my own blog, it was a bit exciting because I know many people will read my commentaries. However, I didn't know I had first to create an account at Gmail buy fortunately the given instructions were very clear so that, I found it easy to have my own space on the net.
I consider that using a blog for classes is a way to motivate students because they are the ones who are constantly in touch with technology. By means of a blog students can explore web sites and share activities throught the net. Apart from classroom activities, learners can additionaly read and write about topics of their interest which is really good to promote their productive and receptive skills.
To my mind, having a blog opens the chances to interact with students not only in the classroom but also out of it, what do you thing about blogs for learning languages?. Isn't it a great tool?
Hi Mory
ReplyDeleteGreat job following the directions. There are many possible ways to use blogs in the language classroom. Some past participants have set up a blog for the final project we all must do. You might consider that if you like the idea.
Please be sure to change the default language to English (look under "Dashboard" or "Design", then look for "Settings" to find "Language") so everyone can navigate the site.

Hi, Mory
ReplyDeleteI agree with Robertou have to change the language to English
First Open your blog
Then you have to look design
after you have choose setting
after that look for "language and chose English
besides you have to post your second week in your blog
finally you have to comment to another partner
Don`t forget to visit my blog and please comment it.
with love

Yes, Mory,
ReplyDeleteI think it is a great tool and great idea to set up a personal blog. As you did, I am also a brand new learner who is learning how to implement a blog site to my teaching. I am also excited to exploring some ideas of creating interactive tasks or activities for my young learners. So let’s get the ball rolling!
Indeed, I can't read the langugae on the appearance of your blog.
With regards,
Rachel
